Why did I start this? The Face Of [Beauty AND now Destinations?]

My goal, I mean biggest goal (I was 11 my mom says) - I wanted to be a beauty artist. I wanted to start with hair and if I could travel the world and do what I love- that was the ultimate goal.

If i’m really honest, i’m writing this now in amazement that, THIS is what i’m doing. Because this is a lot of people.. dream job and traveling too?

I started my California journey in March 2015, salon opened in Newport Beach on Pacific Coast Hwy in early Spring 2016. The Face Of Beauty, my company; has hundreds of weddings a year and I handle every single inch of this branding.

With that said, as of March 2018 I, Chantel started the idea of exploring destinations. The company has always had destinations as said below with listed venues along with ‘destinations’ brides coming into California to get married. Besides that, The Face Of Beauty branding is towards light/airy + fine art, located in the heart of California (mid-mid high end market) and the big destination weddings was starting to get popular.

I can’t explain it more than; I knew this was the time to dive into my life goal. I love recommending off real experiences, which started my branding on The Face Of, turned into 2 websites [beauty for business & then travel]. In travel- I wanted to get into extreme details- to simply, help (it is not easy planning so much *international)- & to simply inspire. It is who I am, it’s genuine and it comes from a lot of love/passion for both of what I do. In my career even to this day as of now a decade, this all feels right and am immensely thankful for the support behind me.

Eventually, I would love to share; how I got the privilege to work in so many destinations around the world thus far and with insanely talented well known photographers.

First, it started in Paris and with a photographer who I looked very fondly up to- became a close friend. Then it snowballed into Italy, then Miami, Hawaii, Australia blew my mind with a triple booking hitter, back to South of Italy and finally seeing Greece along with being booked multiple times too!

I can’t wait to share more and after 10+ years now of chasing my career and this crazy life dream, i’m here and I would love to share all of this- to inspire.

[From a small town in Connecticut to Orange County, Southern California. I urge you to not just follow but c.h.a.s.e your dreams.] -CM
